In this talk, I will outline how I am managing my OpenPGP key, that I also use to sign my Debian packages. The talk will outline the basics about how to work with subkeys, how to keep your Master key properly offline, safe and disconnected while still being able to work with subkeys. PGP Smartcards, Yubikeys etc will also be covered. This talk will give you the information you need to improve your key security, while leaving you to take informed decisions which ideas are yours to take and where the overengineering begins.

Intended audience is people who already have basic knowledge about PGP. I won’t be giving the usual “Alice wants to talk to Bob without Mallory being able to eavesdrop” introduction to public key cryptography.
