- If you are part of the Debian community, or want to get involved; also register for MiniDebCamp
- Read the schedule for MiniDebConf and MiniDebcamp, as well as the Code of Conduct
- The debian-switzerland Mailinglist is used to spread important information about the event. Please subscribe.
- Please join #debian.ch on IRC or matrix and feel free to introduce yourself there. The channel is used to get in touch with each other before and during the event.
- Ask on the event channels for accessibility needs, local logistics, anything else you’d like to know.
- Feel free to contribute to the wiki page of the event.
- Meet and get to know people from local and international Gnu/Linux and FOSS community.
What it is
Community-run mini Debian conference (MiniDebConf). A local event with talks and workshops about Debian development and usage.
Expectations
- Be respectful and follow the code of conduct.
- Be proactive: pick sessions, join discussions, ask for help.
- Contribute at your comfort level (docs/triage for beginners; packaging/infrastructure for experienced contributors).
Debcamp specifics
Concentrated hacking, mentoring, release prep, documentation, and planning.
- Bring essentials: laptop, charger, adapters, headphones (if you want to listen to music, while hacking).
Typical activities:
- Debian packaging
- CI/infrastructure work
- Translations
- Sprint coordination
Time commitment: flexible; join for a few hours or full days.

The event is for free. Donations and support of any kind is welcome!
