If you would like to stay at the conference-arranged accommodation, please let us know about any preferences about the location and room-mates in the “Notes”.

Hostel Depot 195

We reserved 20 beds

in the Hostel Depot195.

Staying at the hostel will be CHF 40 per night for Debian contributors.

How to get to the venue?

You will get a public transport city ticket (zone 120) at check-in.

a) Walk 800m to Busstop ‘Hauptbahnhof Kante H’ take Bus Line 680 (leaves every 30 minutes) to Grubenstrasse which is directly at the location (about 20 minutes in total).

b) Walk 350m to Busstop ‘Brühleck’, take Bus Line 1 (leaves every 8 minutes) to Bhf Oberwinterthur and walk another 650m (about 30 minutes in total).

c) Use your bikecycle or walk; the distance is about 5km (and pass your ticket to someone staying at the hut).

Kadettenhuette

Additionally we reserved the Kadettenhuette.

Sleeping at Kadettenhuette will be free of charge for Debian contributors.

You need to bring your own sleeping-bag if you stay at Kadettenhuette.

How to get to the venue?

Buy a Multi-24h-Tickets for Zone 120 for CHF 53.60 which can be used 6 days or buy a Zone 120 Single Ticket for CHF 9.40

a) Walk 800m to Busstop ‘Toess’ take Bus Line 1 (leaves every 8 minutes) to Bhf Oberwinterthur and walk another 650m (about 40 minutes in total).

b) Like above, but change at Winterthur HB from Line 1 into Line 680 to Grubenstrasse which is directly at the location (about 30 minutes in total).

c) Use your bikecycle or walk; the distance is about 6km (you don’t need a ticket for this).

Hotels

There are plenty of hotels in Winterthur. If you want to stay in a hotel you need to book and pay by yourself.
